Jamaat-e-Islami Naib Ameer Prof. Ghafoor Ahmed Passed Away(Picture). Naib Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Prof Ghafoor Ahmed has passed away in Karachi. Prof Ghafoor Ahmed was ill for several months. He served as General Secretary of two political alliances of UDA (United Democratic Alliance) and PNA (Pakistan National Alliance) respectively. He also remained a member of the National Assembly as the Senate and was also a member of the committee constituted for drawing up the Constitution of 1973.President, prime minister and political leaders has expressed sorrow at the demise of Prof Ghafoor Ahmed.
