Domestic Cricket Season Calendar 2013-2014
Pakistan Cricket Board today announced the calendar for its domestic season 2013-14 starting from third week of October. The domestic season will start with Quaid-e-Azam Trophy first class tournament from 23rd Oct. 14 teams divided into 2 Groups will participate in it and will play 61 matches. One Day Tournament for Regions will be played from 28th Oct till 1st Jan. 14 teams divided into 2 Groups will be playing 45 matches. President’s Trophy First Class Cricket for Departments will start from 23rd Oct till 11th Feb and is being participated by 11 Departments which will play 56 matches on single league basis. President’s Cup One Day tournament will be played from 28th Oct till 4th Feb. 11 Departments will play 56 matches on single league basis. Inter Region U-19 Three Day Tournament will be played from 26th Oct till 9th Dec and 23 teams divided into 4 groups will play 58 matches. Inter Region U-19 One Day Tournament will start from 30th Oct till 13th Dec. 23 teams divided into 4 groups will play 58 matches. The most popular domestictournament of the season T 20 Cup for Regions will be played from 20th Nov to 29th Nov. A total of 17 teams divided into 4 groups will play 35 matches in this tournament. T-20 tournament for Departments will be played from 18th Feb to 24th Feb. In this tournament 11 teams divided into 2 groups will participate to play 28 matches. The last tournament of the season Patron’s Trophy Grade-II will start from 1st March till 31st March and 24 teams divided into 4 groups will play 63 matches. Details of the Domestic Calendar is as follows: Quaid-e-Azam Trophy (First Class) 14 Teams, Two Groups, 61 Matches - 23rd Oct 2013 to 28th Jan 2014 One day Cup for Regions 14 Teams, Two Groups, 45 Matches - 28th Oct 2013 to 1st Jan 2014 President’s Trophy (First Class) 11 Teams, Single League, 56 Matches - 23rd Oct 2013 to 11th Feb 2014 President’s Cup, One day 11 Teams, Single League, 56 Matches - 28th Oct 2013 to 4th Feb 2014 Inter Region U-19 (3 Day) 23 Teams, 4 Groups, 58 Matches - 26th Oct to 9th Dec 2013 Inter Region U-19 (One Day) 23 Teams, 4 Groups, 58 matches) - 30th Oct to 13th Dec 2013 T-20 Tournament for Regions 17 Teams, 4 Groups, 35 matches - 20th Nov to 29th Nov 2013 T-20 Tournament for Departments 11 Teams, 2 Groups, 28 matches - 18th Feb to 24th Feb 2014 Patron’s Trophy Grade-II 24 Teams, 4 Groups, 63 matches - 1st Mar to 31st Mar
